I feel like it’s publicity for both, Joe’s got an album coming out and Sai is trying to create buzz. I remember this one video I saw, it was kind of old.
JB promised that Saigon’s debut was coming and invited people to take physical retribution (”smack me when you see me”) on him if Saigon’s album was not out in a number of months.
So it’s not available as of now, I wonder if anyone has actually tried him…

ps. I still fucks wit Saigon. He’s dope. I’ve been bumping Joe Budden’s Halfway House for the past few days (odd coincidence). He’s always been dope lyrically, plus I like that you feel like you know him if you know his music. But it’s not a solid album. Wack hooks, mediocre beats, and weak performances rob it of some of its luster. The beef doesn’t make sense to me, but whatever. They both fit in that category of “rappers everybody knows is dope, but record sales haven’t proven it.” That’s if you give any weight to what sales tell you. Like Wale said hip hop fans are “scared to do what the Souljaboytellem fans be prepared to do.”

can someone tell me why Joe Budden’s mixtapes have such low quality? i love his music but i can make a beat sound better than the way his mixes are. i realize that they won’t be mastered to CD quality and all that, but there is definitely room for improvement. his latest mixtape seemed to have extremely low quality, same with mood muzik 3 (compared to past releases).
