I’ve got an idea. You all could send me your beats (or anyone else you choose, doesn’t have to be me), make a poll on one of those poll making sites with the URL’s as the names, then post the link to the poll in the comments. Leave it up for a period of time, and then the winner is chosen through that. Since the URL’s are the names, it keeps people from knowing who’s beat is who.
And just so people don’t cheat (sending the poll to friends), whoever votes should post here that they did. Keeps it true.

Hi everyone ! So it’s battle-time again on TMTD !!! I know i’m late…france time…anyway…
Unfortunately i left the battles game this summer…and talking about making a production team, i have mine since this summer too (www.myspace.com/freshmanonline)…and that’s like one of the greatest thing that happened to my little “career”…7 producers, everybody got his own style with his own influences…doin everything from soul music, hiphop, house…we had some connections there and there and we started to run in major companies…which brought some nice results and opportunities because we have all the flavours in one team…plus we started to build real albums and projects by ourselves, to give a shot of our possibilities…and this few months of REAL grind brought me more results than all the days behind my computer trying to increase my myspace visits…
…that was for my personal experience…so i’m more a “keep it real” dude now than a “let’s do it on the web”…but you can “do it on the web” after you “kept it real” long enough to know that you’ll have A&Rs checking for what you’re up to. Personally,today I can’t see myself making a beat “just for the sake of it” or “just for battlin’”…

to me it doesnt matter if someone made the beat 30 mins ago or 5 years ago. just post the beat u feel like sharing and that u think will win. they do that stuff on allhiphop, where 1 person supplies a sample and everyone turns in their beat. most of the beats end up sounding exactly the same. and i would not be that motivated to spend lots of time on a beat if i know 8-10 people were making a beat very similar to mine.

in all honesty though, Komi did slaughterize all the beats posted… except for mine… *hmmmm*. Everyone did their thaaang, some merked it, i merked it but i have to admit, he posted like 10 beats and each one was fire, some were lava.
