Dont see whats the big deal about Wale. He’s and average rapper if you ask me, but then again his town has never had a rapper blow up on the commercial seen so I do see the support. But as an avid fan of hip hop since the days of Video Music Box (1988) to present I dont believe he is going to accomplish what his fans want him too, I just feel that his sound (go-go) couldend up in the same position that crump music is in right now non-existent. You have to ask yourself, look at the succesful rappers in the past and present, Snoop is from the west coast but everyone from down south to midwest to the east coast could relate to his music and the same could be said about TI. Now can you say the say the same for Wale does he have something that every coast could feel and or relate too? My answer is I dont think so. Then again its just my opinion an opinion from a hiphop fan who doesn’t subscribe to anything else but good old hiphop music weather it be east, west, south or north.

Bun B isn’t from Houston, he’s from Port Arthur but the whole area embraces him. Ludacris moved to ATL when he was 21 from Chicago and dude NEVER mentions Chicago and nobody seems to care.
